Join us for an insight into what it’s like to navigate a digital world while blind.
Can you edit a document that you can’t even see? Most people might be surprised to hear that there are visually-impaired people who work as editors. But how is this possible?
Join us as Erin Nightingale, a blind editor (her preferred terminology), talks about the obstacles she’s overcome and the tools she uses.
Speaker Profile

Erin Nightingale received a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a minor in editing from Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, USA, in 2019. She is currently working toward her goal of becoming an editor for a publishing house. She has lived with varying degrees of blindness since birth.
